The Capella Marina at Marigot Bay was constructed in 2005 as part of a threefold development and under original plans, was to be operated as a base for The Moorings Charter Company, however, it soon became clear that there was a great deal more potential.

In late 2006, the marina was brought back from The Moorings Charter Company and its management was instead awarded to a specialist local marina management company.

Almost 10 years later, the marina is now an exclusive mega-yacht facility that has succeeded where many others have previously failed; in the crucial areas of customer service and technical support. They also have the overwhelming advantages of being small and beautifully located with the backing of the BRAND NEW Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina.

Having recently re-opened following a multi-million dollar renovation, Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina – the newest member of the Capella family and their only resort in the Caribbean – boasts a unique, paradise location and superb hotel amenities.

The Capella Marina operates in the same way as this 5-star luxury Caribbean hideaway in terms of service, employing staffs who are committed to customer service at every level. They also provide – at all levels – all of the services that mega-yacht owners, captains, crew & guests might need.

The berthing systems at Capella Marina are designed to be easy to use, avoid anchor clashes in the rare occasions when anchoring is necessary and to be flexible enough to provide stern-to berthing for yachts from 50ft to 280ft. The docks were designed to accommodate safely motor yachts of up to 130ft LOA in cross winds of up to 100 knots.

Capella Marina has, over time, become recognisable as a favourite pick-up and drop-off point for yacht charters, especially when coupled with a convenient, direct airlift from both the UK and US; not to mention facilities for landing private jets. Furthermore, the marina is the perfect gateway for exploring the Grenadines, Tobago, Grenada and other southern islands of the Caribbean, all year round.

All in all, Capella Marina is a high end, fully serviced Super Yacht marina set in the beautiful surroundings of Marigot Bay; the jewel of the Caribbean.
