Hill Robinson Yacht Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Barrett Wright as President of the US office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Barrett has been a strong contributor to the US office and her knowledge and familiarity with the Hill Robinson fleet, as well as the global yachting market makes her a fitting candidate to further the Hill Robinson presence in Fort Lauderdale. Nick Hill says, "Following 4 years as senior yacht and accounts manager with Hill Robinson, Barrett is the natural choice to continue the company's expansion in the US market." Of her appointment, Barrett comments, "I am looking forward to furthering the Hill Robinson presence in South Florida. We have a wonderful team in the US office and we are all working towards improving and increasing the scope of support available to our fleet and new clients."
Barrett attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and began her professional career at Sotheby's in 2000. After a period working onboard sailing yachts, including the 125ft schooner Aello as chef, Barrett returned to shore, taking a position at the Fontaine Design Group (designers of large custom sailing yachts in Newport). Upon relocating to Florida, Barrett joined the Hill Robinson US office as a yacht manager and company accountant in 2011 and in the time ensuing, expanded her duties to include yacht operations.
Hill Robinson provides a specialised multilingual management service, sharing the responsibility of all aspects of yacht ownership, development and operation, providing the essential support that makes the whole yachting experience a success.
