Ian Malouf, the founder and managing director of Ahoy Club, is passionate about the yachting industry. With 35 years of experience in large commercial business, Ian holds an uncompromising belief in the need for great service and delivering great value for money to his customers.
Having been around yachts from a very young age, Ian has been engaging in every aspect of the industry, from operation, maintenance, charter to ownership of a yacht.
It was soon after taking delivery of the 54m superyacht M/Y MISCHIEF, that Ian recognised the opportunity to significantly improve the global charter experience and embarked on the journey to do so.
It was 3 years later that the Ahoy Club electronic platform and app was released, giving users, for the first-time ever, the ability to choose and book their desired yacht, anywhere in the world for the best possible price, in no more than a few minutes.
Most importantly users are also supported by Ahoy Club’s 24/7 worldwide concierge team supported by offices in London and Australia with more destined for rollout in France, the US and Far east.
The already large team of Ahoy Club, expected to reach 120 employees in 2019 are fully immersed in supporting the charterers, in every step of the charter process from itineraries, hidden locations, great restaurants to effective tax solutions and so much more, in order to ensure the bespoke and unforgettable experience expected on a yacht!
