In 2005, Tim founded Gosling to design bespoke furniture and interiors in a wide range of materials and stylistic parameters, whilst continuing his working relationship with yacht, interior and landscape designers and architects worldwide.
Tim picked up a pencil at a very early age and his ability to sketch provides clients with a unique sense of proportion and scale and greater creativity.
Gosling has a remarkable portfolio of furniture and interior commissions worldwide. Commercial projects include the Goring Hotel, The Berkeley Hotel, BP’s London Headquarters, the Oriana cruise ship and Jaeger-LeCoultre’s London flagship store. Gosling launched Gosling Marine in 2013 with a debut collection of carbon fibre deck furniture, the first of its kind. Since 2013 many Gosling designs can be found on the finest super yachts around the world.
Tim is a consummate public speaker and lectures regularly at Design events. He has published three books and is currently working on his fourth. Tim sits on the Bespoke Guild Mark committee of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers’, the Super yacht International Design and Innovative Awards panel and the Talk & Lectures committee of The Athenaeum Club, Pall Mall.
