Numarine announces sale of 32XP

Turkish yard Numarine has sold its first 32XP hull.…

The Turkish shipyard Numarine has announced the sale of the first hull in its new 32XP range of explorer yachts. The 32.5m superyacht was sold earlier this month to a Northern European client. The 32XP series is a part of a new Explorer line models and is complemented by the 40m 40XP series.

The design of the XP line is the work of long-time Numarine collaborator and designer, Can Yalman. The yacht itself will be able to accommodate 12 guests including a full width owner's cabin. It features a composite superstructure and steel hull propelled by two CAT C18 Acert engines. Due to the 32XP series' configuration, the yacht has a cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.

Designed in partnership with Silent Line Group, the 32XP series has been the subject of rigorous hull vibration testing. Numarine is aiming to reach 50m RINA Noise & Vibration Comfort levels on a 32m yacht.

The Turkish yard has two other 32m projects in build, which are a part of the 105 HT series. All three yachts are due to be delivered in 2016.
