As the year drew to a close, December was a fairly quiet month for fleet activity. Launches included 56.4m ketch Mondango 3 from Alloy Yachts and 42m Soy Amor from Benetti.

As the year drew to a close, December was a fairly quiet month for fleet activity. Launches included 56.4m ketch Mondango 3 from Alloy Yachts and 42m Soy Amor from Benetti.

Launches

Mondango 3 – Alloy Yachts have launched the 56.4m ketch Mondango Three (AY46), which has been built for repeat customers of the yard. The yacht is the work of the same team behind 52m Mondango Two, which launched in 2008, and features an interior by Raymond Langton Design and naval architecture by Dubois Naval Architects. Soy Amor - On 14 December Benetti launched 42m Soy Amor (BY003), their third Crystal 140’, in a private ceremony with the owner in attendance. The exterior concept and design are by Stefano Righini, while the contemporary-styled interiors are by Benetti's technical department. Read more here.


New Orders

Baltic 115 - Baltic Yachts have announced the signing of a 35m high performance cruising yacht. The contract details for the Baltic 115 Custom model were finalised just before the Monaco Yacht Show. The project is being managed by Nigel Ingram from MCM, with delivery scheduled for Autumn 2015. Read more here

Zahraa - Admiral Tecnomar, part of the Italian Sea Group, has delivered the Nadara 30 Zahraa to her new owners. Read more here.

Refits

Amico & Co - Amico & Co has delivered 86m Seven Seas and 62m Apogee at its refit facility in Genoa. Read more here

Rivergate Marina – The Australian refit sector is thriving say Rivergate whose refit projects in Q4 of 2013 include 73.3m Dragonfly, built by Hanseatic Marine, 48m Dorothea III, built by Cheoy Lee and 63.4m SuRi, built by Halter Marine. Read more here.
