Bilgin Yachts has announced that the Bilgin 156 completed her technical launch on 18 November and has arrived at the Bilgin facility in Istanbul. With the official launch scheduled for late 2016 the project will now undergo the final structural building process and the completion of its outfitting.

The 156 is a speculative project designed by Unique Yacht Design, based in Antalya, Turkey. However, the general arrangement and the interior design concept has been designed by London-based designers H2 Yacht Design. This will be the fifth project H2 has designed with Bilgin, the majority of which are interior projects.

H2 Yacht Design has also designed three of the projects currently under construction at the Turkish shipyard, one of which (Bilgin 155) is both an interior and exterior design project.

The 48m superyacht has a bright interior, which has been achieved by the large windows, combinations of wood variants and precious metals, all of which contribute to the minimalistic copper colour scheme.

On board there is accommodation for 12 guests across four large cabins and an owner’s suite.
