Admiral, one of the divisions of the Italian Sea Group, has announced the launch of its third superyacht of 2016. The celebration itself took place on April 22, less than three weeks after the launch of 55m Quinta Essentia and 50m Ouranos, at the facility in Marina di Carrara.
It was 38m M/Y Tremenda, the third superyacht from the ‘Impero’ series after Cacos V, delivered in 2013, and NONO in 2014, in the spotlight this time.
Tremenda has a powerful appearance and Luca Dini has lived up to his tremendous reputation with the contemporary exterior styling of the 38 metre superyacht, which has jutting lines and engaging angles throughout.
Her interior was designed by Gian Marco Campanino with Admiral Centro Stile. The layout features a full beam master suite, placed forward on the main deck with a full beam bathroom. There are four guest cabins on board, positioned on the lower deck, each with ensuite bathrooms.
The finish and design chosen for the interior is harmonious with the deep colours of the exterior and is anything but regular, featuring dark joinery throughout, both in gloss and matt finishes, complemented by marble panels and natural leather surfaces.
Arguably the most striking area is the main saloon, flooded by natural light and surrounded by glass, virtually creating a continuous space with the aft cockpit.
With a gross tonnage of 499, Tremenda boasts ample space inside with impressive headroom. A large proportion of the volume is dedicated to the crew on board, starting with the pantry, the crew quarter features a large galley, crew mess, captains cabin and two crew cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms.
Tremenda will be used privately by the owner and his family, initially in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and US waters. She will now enter a period of extensive sea trailing prior to her delivery later on this year.
