Pascoe International, the UK-based superyacht tender manufacturer, presented its latest 10-metre concept at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show. Having supplied superyachts such as the Maltese Falcon, A, Dubai and Athena, Pascoe International hopes to make new advances in the marketplace with the design, which has been developed for a specific client.
Designed by Patrick Banfield with styling and interior by Ken Freivokh Design, the tender will be able to accommodate 16 guests and two crew in both open-air and fully sheltered cabin seating and offers all the modern conveniences an owner would expect such as a galley/bar. Additionally, there is the option of having dual steering positions so that the owner can take control of the craft when he or she wishes to.
Thanks to twin Yanmar 6BY 260hp engines, the SL10 Limousine is able to reach a top speed of 35 knots, with the option of environmental hybrid propulsion for quiet docking.
“What makes this model stand out from the rest of the Pascoe range is that it marks a move into the top level of the tender market, where completely custom builds are required, incorporating all of the client’s requested features”, explains Richard Watson, General Manager at Pascoe International. “Also, it obviously marks a move away from RIBs for us, showing our versatility as a design and build team.”
Taking into account space availability, restrictive tender garages and in keeping with SOLAS regulations, Pascoe International state that they are happy to work with the owner and designer of the vessel in order to tailor the tender to suit the livery and detailing of the superyacht.
