Fastmount has launched its latest panel clip set – the VL-03H. Designed and made in New Zealand, the VL-03H is a heavy-duty version of Fastmount’s low profile VL-03 clip set. Designed for areas with minimal frame and panel thickness, the new VL-03H system has a 10kg pull out load and is fast and easy to install requiring no specialist tools or skilled labour.

Gregg Kelly, Fastmount MD, said of the new clips, “Although our VL-03 clip set is very popular around the world, feedback from our distributors and customers highlighted the desire for a similar very low profile system that could be used to mount heavier panels.

“We designed and developed the new VL-03H clip to give the style and installation benefits of the low profile system combined with the ability to mount heavier wall and ceiling panels.”

Fastmount provided the panel clips for Big Fish.

Available in black, the VL-03H panel clip set can be fixed using a range of adhesives as the patented super-groove system creates a mechanical bond. It can also be screw-fixed or riveted, making the system ideal for installation where minimal drilling is preferable.

Due to its design and installation, if recessed, the VL-03H clip set allows for a minimal 3mm gap in applications – perfect for use where space is paramount - and can also be installed onto 6mm plywood panels with minimal clearance, inspection panels, soft- or honeycomb-cored panels with thin facings.

Dominique Gauduchon, Fastmount’s European Commercial Agent works closely with distributors. Commenting on the launch of the new VL-03H clip system, she said, “We are proud of our close relationship with distributors and customers and Fastmount’s ability to meet their design and installation needs. The new VL-03H panel clip set is yet again another high quality and innovative solution demonstrating why Fastmount sets the standard for panel mounting.”
