Global marine electronics partnership celebrates 50th anniversary

Imtech Marine and Furuno have announced an extension of their strategic partnership, to mark its 50th anniversary. The partnership will be extended for another three years for their ‘most exclusive contracts’ and will also encompass the exploration of new cooperative opportunities within marine electronics.

To mark both the anniversary and the extension of the partnership, both companies’ senior management teams assembled for a special ceremony in Japan.

Speaking at the event, Eric van den Adel, Imtech Marine’s MD commented: “The relationship with Furuno is very important to us; fifty years is a good part of an entire lifetime. We aim to provide our clients with reliable maritime services around the world and we aim to work with the best companies in the world to achieve that.
