IGY Marinas has announced the official opening of Blue Haven Resort &
Marina, Providenciales, an island in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The marina is located on the leeward side of the island. At 575 nautical miles from Florida, just south of the Bahamas archipelago, it is positioned as a gateway to Caribbean destinations including Antigua, Virgin islands and Barbados, further south. It offers world class diving amongst miles and miles of coral reefs.
It has a draft restriction of 8 feet (at mean low tide) and caters for superyachts up to 67m with no beam limitations. As part of the Blue Haven Resort, marina guests have access to the resort’s facilities which includes infinity pool, private beach and gym.
The marina itself is equipped with conference room, WIFI, showers, work stations, a volley ball court and is also a short distance from Provo Golf Course, a premier golf course in the Caribbean. It is surrounded by the third largest barrier reef in the world, offering water sports enthusiasts some of the best diving and fishing grounds in the region. Blue Haven Marina is located on the north-eastern tip of Providenciales providing access to bottom and flats fishing, diving and day-tripping to uninhabited cays.
IGY offers guests customized itineraries for on and off shore activities upon request, and there is also a resort and marina concierge. New crew bar and grill, SALT, has recently opened at the marina.
