According to widespread reports across the French media, Fabrice Vial, owner of Chantier Naval Couach (CNC), has been fatally shot. Details are still vague but it has been confirmed that Vial was fatally wounded by a shot to the back at around 1am local time in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica. He had been cruising on board his own yacht.
