The Cayman Islands Shipping Registry put on a real show at their annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Show party. With Spice 09 the CISR brought a touch of the Caribbean to Florida with endless mojitos and cigars. After a delicious meal of paella and gloriously decadent desserts, including a huge chocolate fountain, guests were wowed by the skills of the New Century Dance Company. The dancers performed several different routines of equal flamboyance, stunning the audience with their dexterity and flair. After the show they pulled individuals from the crowd to dance with them. Our very own account manager, Roland Archall was thrilled to be plucked from his seat by a gorgeous brunette!

During the party there was a prize draw for a notebook laptop and a Cayman Islands vacation for two. The winners were were Daniel Colle of Trinity Yachts and Jessica Osterneck of Velocity Jets, respectively.
The Cayman Islands Shipping Registry has been an active participant of
FLIBS since 1998 and has steadily experienced growth in its
participation numbers over the years, positively increasing the
Registry’s presence. No doubt party goers are already looking forward to next year's CISR bash.
Spice 09 was sponsored by Appleby (local law firm in Cayman, handling ship registration matters) and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
