Atlas Marine Systems has announced two key appointments to its Florida team. Captain Peter Childs joins Atlas as North American sales manager, whilst Vilmond Jacques has been recruited as applications engineering manager.
Childs, who has served on a number of yachts, warships and commercial vessels, and holds a 500-ton Oceans Master ticket, will be tasked with forging new relationships for the North American territories. His remit will also extend to the Far East.
Jacques will focus on product design and development, and technical support for switchboard systems. He brings with him over 10 years’ experience as an electrical engineer. During this time he has acquired certificates of completion for Toshiba International training courses and General Electric design for Six Sigma reliability, generator theory and power delivery field engineering.
