Pinmar launches p3 Surface Care System

Pinmar has unveiled the latest product in its range of paints and coatings, the p3 Surface Care System, a marine surface protector that utilises nanotechnology to preserve the colour and integrity of painted surfaces whilst protecting against surface degradation from UV, salt and pollutants via the use of a hydrophobic layer. This improves the laminar flow, producing an enhanced appearance and reducing cleaning and maintenance costs. The p3 system has been specifically developed for marine use, incorporating environmentally sensitive caustic-free, non-hazardous components.
The range consists of four products, or ‘elements’ that work collaboratively to restore wearing finishes and prolong the life of gelcoats and paint jobs, extending the interval between repaints.
Pinmar also offers a dedicated service for the application of the p3 Surface Care System. Alternatively the entire range is available through the recently launched Pinmar Supply network.
Remy Millott, Pinmar CEO, said of the news: “I’m very excited about the new p3 system. By combining Pinmar’s unequalled yacht painting expertise with chemical and polymer science developed for medical and dental applications, I believe we have created a new and revolutionary industry standard for yacht surface care.”
The company also confirmed that an extended surface care range was imminent for treating all areas of a yacht.
