Berth holders at MDL’s Queen Anne’s Battery are welcoming a brand-new chandlery and store, as a branch of Force 4 Chandlery opens up at the Plymouth-based marina.
Stocking everything from marine electronics and sailing clothing, to safety and navigational equipment, alongside all the chandlery essentials, the new store in the Victoria Building at the marina is open seven days a week.
Established more than 30 years ago, Force 4 Chandlery now has 13 stores across the UK including outlets at four other MDL marinas; Hamble Point Marina, Port Hamble Marina, Mercury Yacht Harbour and Shamrock Quay.
The new Force 4 store at Queen Anne’s Battery employs four members of staff and replaces the former on-site chandlery.
“We’re delighted to welcome Force 4 to Queen Anne’s Battery. The chandlery is a real asset to the marina and I’m sure will be a welcome benefit for many of our berth holders and visitors,” said Chris Price, Marina Manager at Queen Anne’s Battery.
Pauline Nolan, director of Force 4 Chandlery, added: “We’re very pleased to have opened our Plymouth branch. The marina is a great location for us, and we’re delighted to be opening at another MDL location. We look forward to welcoming berth holders and visitors to Force 4 Plymouth. Come in, have a look around and meet the crew at the new store.”
The new store will be open Monday to Saturday 9am – 5.30pm and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
