Tasmin Marine named central agent for Protectapeel range

Tasmin Marine has been unveiled as the new central agent for  the range of Protectapeel products  that serve the superyacht industry.

Protectapeel protective coatings are used during refit and new build projects and in the transport of vessels. they are also applicable as protective coatings for decks and other areas during lay periods.

These protective coatings are applied by roller or airless spray and are relatively environmentally friendly as they are water based and biodegradable. This reduces disposal costs allowing them to be disposed of directly into domestic garbage.

The newest addition to the Protectapeel range, 'Teakguard', can be applied directly onto teak decks, effectively sealing them from dirt and water for up to a year. When the protective peel is removed the teak deck below is left as clean and dry as when covered. This can be further over-coated if desired with Protectapeel matting to give real mechanical damage protection in heavily trafficked areas or allowing scaffold to be erected.



These protective 'peelable' coatings which form a complete system will allow a yacht to be protected for either work to be performed or for transport at a far lower cost and in a fraction of the time of that using traditional methods of protection.
