The marinas Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena and Marina Ibiza, facilities of IPM Group and IMG, have renewed their Blue Flag. IPM Group are the specialist group in the nautical sector which each year aims to raise its level of quality in its marinas by offering state of the art facilities. This Group, following a strict policy of quality, environmental management and service, focuses its efforts on constant improvement and that is why its marinas have been recognized one more year with the Blue Flag award.

The company sees  this recognition as a reward for their continued work to increase the levels of quality, sustainability and adequacy of services as well as facilities to the needs of customers. At the same time, the marinas each year carry out various activities to encourage and raise awareness among their customers about the need to preserve and take care of the Balearic’s natural environment.

Blue Flag is issued by ADEAC, Association of Environmental and Consumer Education, awarded to beaches, ports and boats that meet their criteria. Each year their criteria are more demanding, in terms of management information and environmental education, safety and services.

Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena and Marina Ibiza offer to manage at the customers who wish, the processing of Blue Flag for boats. The staff of each facility is responsible for providing the information for this and to facilitate their work in recognition of their commitment to the environment and, therefore, their responsible behaviour on board.
