November 1st, 2017 — Swansea, UK and Sarasota, FL -- Lumishore, manufacturer of high-performance underwater LED lighting systems, introduces Lumi-Link™ plug-&-play MFD integration, designed for boaters to take full control of their Lumishore EOS or SUPRA lighting system directly from their MFD with Lumishore’s award-winning full functionality.

Now available for Garmin MFDs with OneHelm™ integration, Lumi-Link simply connects to the MFD with a single plug-&-play connector from its concealed black box controller and you’re done! The device is recognized and the Lumishore icon is displayed on the main screen. No other controllers or digital switches are necessary, resulting in reduced helm clutter and centralized touchscreen control for the entire vessel.

Lumishore lighting controls on large touchscreen MFDs allow for a more enjoyable user experience and with lightning-quick response; touch a Lumishore command on the screen and the lights instantly respond.

Lumi-Link works with Lumishore’s award-winning EOS color change and SUPRA dual color lighting systems. Select any color from the touchscreen color palette quickly and easily, adjust intensity, or choose from any one of the many in-built effects like strobe, sweep or cycle modes. And for the ultimate party accessory, choose ‘Sound-to-Light’ mode by selecting the media player along with your favorite song and watch the lights dance to the music.

Lumi-Link will be available on a range of Garmin MFD display sizes and will automatically scale and adjust its size when viewed on a split screen/combo page, ideal for viewing and recording live action video from your Lumi-Cam underwater HD camera and watching all the action right under your boat.

Lumishore CEO Eifrion Evans added, “Lumishore is delighted to launch the Lumi-Link lighting integration platform with Garmin. This simply-installed technology is a world-first and another real example of Lumishore’s leadership in underwater lighting and on-board functionality. Future developments in 2018 will include zonal control for all areas of vessel lighting such as the cockpit, name board and speakers, directly from the helm and with a simple touch on the MFD.”
