Abacus Aviation is pleased to announce its attendance at the annual Opportunities in Business Jets Conference which will take place on the 22 February 2017 at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Valletta, Malta. The conference, which is being organised in conjunction with Quaynote Communications, will provide an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss current issues within the business aviation industry.

Now in its 5th year, Opportunities in Business Jets will once again bring senior aviation executives to Malta to discuss key industry issues. Focusing on legal and regulatory issues, registration, taxation and corporate structures, finance and leasing, insurance, safety and security, the event is a networking forum that will offer delegates the opportunity to meet with senior industry decision makers. Based on previous attendance, the conference is expected to attract an extensive audience counting over 130 brokers, managers, fixed-based operators, lawyers, corporate service providers, registries, associations, tax advisors and accountants, from around the globe, making this a leading international industry forum.

With a strong emphasis on panel and roundtable discussions, Opportunities in Business Jets will give delegates the opportunity to hear from a wider variety of industry figures, as well as to interact and join the debate with panellists.

Samantha Snow, Client Services Director, will be attending the conference with the aim to promote the benefits of using the Malta and the Isle of Man over other aviation jurisdictions for the purpose of aircraft ownership and registration. Sam has many years of experience of Indirect Tax matters having worked with both domestic and international clients across a diverse range of sectors including the Yachting and Aviation, Financial Services and Property and Construction industries.

Abacus Aviation can assist with the diverse requirements essential to effective ownership, planning and operation of an aircraft, whilst providing tax efficient ownership structures tailored to each client’s individual needs and requirements.
