Considered by many as the ultimate event to view the latest and greatest superyachts in the world, the Monaco Yacht Show promises to provide a wealth of options for those on the lookout for their next yacht purchase or charter. Burgess will be leading the way in terms of choice, presenting over 10 per cent of the vessels on display, the most of any brokerage company, and also offering access to every yacht at the show.

The Burgess line-up will be composed of over 1,000 metres of superyachts at the Monaco Yacht Show itself, with an average vessel length of over 53 metres, including 11 vessels in Port Hercule and nearly 20 at anchor, for which there will be a private tender service provided by Wahoo. Additionally, by virtue of a long-term partnership with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, VIP guests of Burgess will be provided with Rolls-Royce courtesy cars to conveniently transport them to and from the show in complete comfort.

Yachts for sale at the Monaco Yacht Show will include the sumptuous and voluminous Tim Heywood-designed Cakewalk; the award-winning Royal Huisman ketch Twizzle; the striking Baton Rouge built by Icon Yachts; and a host of motor and sailing yachts ranging in length from 40m to over 85m priced from €9,606,000 to €119,000,000.

Also presented by their respective shipyards in Monaco will be two phenomenal yachts from the Burgess charter fleet: the brand new 73m Grace E by Picchiotti/Perini Navi and the magnificent 66m Invictus by Delta Marine, with inspections offered by the team of Burgess charter brokers on hand at the show.

In the period from April to June 2014, Burgess enjoyed its strongest performing sales quarter since the global financial crisis. Twenty three deals were concluded, including one week with a significant superyacht sold each day. Despite this upturn in the brokerage market, major price increases have yet to be observed and trading conditions remain uncertain, not least due to various geo-political instabilities around the world.

With the upturn in the brokerage market, the outlook for shipyards has also brightened with build slots gradually being filled and delivery times now extending as far as 2018 and beyond. Burgess Technical Services continues to operate at maximum output and has recently signed a number of substantial new build projects.
