The event will run over a two day period, adjacent to the Superyacht Design Forum, held at the iconic Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.
This year’s competitors have been tasked with designing the ultimate James Bond inspired vessel. The students can use polaroids, samples and swatches from the Design Centre showrooms to inspire their final piece which will then be judged by an elite panel of globally renowned designers and superyacht professionals.
The winner will secure themselves a four-week internship at world leading custom superyacht builder and refit specialists, Pendennis Shipyard. The talented runner up will receive the prize of a unique two-week internship at world leading design and naval architecture studio, Olesinski, based on the Isle of Wight.
