CRN has released renderings and information on its three new semi-custom ranges…
ITALY, Ancona. CRN, a subsidiary of the Ferretti Group, has released information about its new 50m semi-custom superyacht ranges, developed in collaboration with Zuccon International Project. To meet the demands of an increasingly expectant market, semi-custom ranges make the most of timely process standardisation, while providing a necessary degree of customisation to satisfy an exacting consumer base.
The 50m Expedition Teseo, 50m Superconero, and 50m Dislopen Special Edition are three different semi-custom ranges that all come with their own variety of layouts and options. “The Dislopen, the Expedition and the Supercornero epitomise CRN’s ability to offer very diverse products,” explains architect Giovanni Zuccon.
The Teseo is a concept designed to fulfil the desire to ‘go anywhere’. This steel and aluminium, bulb keel displacement yacht has a beam of nine metres and falls within the 500gt class. The design comes with a variety of layouts, but common to all versions is a storage area for toys and tenders aft of the main deck, which becomes a comfortable day area post-launch, as well as a pilothouse and captain’s cabin on the sundeck.
The first layout comes with a beach club aft connected to an open living area with collapsible terraces. The second aft configuration is designed for owners who intend to spend long periods at sea without stepping ashore, and includes extensive storage and diving areas. The third configuration features a large storage and diving area but also includes two guest cabins and the galley aft.
Version one has a full-beam master stateroom forward on the main deck, four guest cabins on the lower deck amidships, and also features wide sunbathing areas forward of the upper deck, with a panoramic living area and a large outdoor terrace aft.
Alternatively the main deck may have the indoor living area as an open-air terrace overlooking the sea, creating a single space combined with the cockpit. This deck will also feature two guest cabins, while the master stateroom and remaining two guest cabins are located on the lower deck. The final configuration follows the open-air terrace and cockpit model; however, this deck will feature a dining room as well as the two guest cabins. The upper deck includes a panoramic al fresco dining area, a large outdoor aft terrace and the master stateroom towards the bow.
The Supercornero, inspired by its 1960s CRN namesake, and Dislopen Special Edition also fall within the 500 gt class. All three projects come with two C32 Caterpillar engines that allow a top speed of 15 knots and a maximum range of 3800 nautical miles when travelling at 11 knots.
