Last year as part of our evolution of The Superyacht Owner project, we launched a new VIP Lounge during Monaco Yacht Show, simply and logically labelled The Superyacht Owner's VIP Lounge. Due to popular demand, and with some exciting partners who understand and support the concept, it will become an annual fixture at the industry’s most important yacht show. The Owners’ Lounge is best described as a private club that assists in the art of yacht show survival.

Yes, there are plenty of hangouts, private spaces, clubs, restaurants and hospitality stands dotted around Port Hercule and no doubt there will be again this year. However, we are trying to ensure that the privacy of The Superyacht Owner's VIP Lounge delivers extra exclusivity. With hospitality being offered to 150 VIPs every day for lunch, coupled with private themed breakfasts and evening parties, the Owners’ Lounge will not be swamped with hundreds of the same faces who hop from yacht to yacht, tasting the same canapés and drinking the same champagne. Our event is designed to give industry CEOs and their VIP clients a taste of privacy and quality, similar to a VIP enclosure or hospitality venue at one of the world’s exclusive sporting events.

If there are too many people, it’s not fun. If there are too many sponsors, it appears chaotic. If it’s not relaxed, you can’t relax. To ensure the VIP event works, we have selected a handful of suitably intelligent sponsor partners who respect the clients we will invite and ensure we don’t create a hub for anyone who needs to escape the heated mayhem and congestion of the docks. The Owners’ Lounge will only be accessible to partners of The Superyacht Owner project and to any superyacht owner or potential superyacht owner visiting the show who would like to use our VIP venue.

Over the coming months, before the show starts, our team will contact the myriad of owners that have joined The Superyacht Owner community to check if they are planning to visit the Monaco Yacht Show. Plus we will reach out to many more who are part of our growing network and make sure they let us know if they are planning to be in the principality for any of the first three days of the show. This will drive our primary guest list and allow us to manage the number of extra VIPs we can accommodate.

The beauty of The Superyacht Owner's VIP Lounge is that from 11am until 5pm, anyone who has registered or been added to our guest list can use the lounge with our full compliments, whether it’s just to enjoy a coffee and read the morning papers, have a glass of ice cold sparkling water and study the show inventory with your advisor, enjoy a healthy lunch and some excellent wine with your partner, or, after a hot day on the dock, to sip a cup of tea with some divine little pastries and a couple of friends while contemplating your first glass of champagne.

The Superyacht Owner's VIP Lounge will once again be hosted at Restaurant Virage, the most perfectly located restaurant on Port Hercule, allowing you to watch the show in comfort. When you’re ready for action, just take a few steps and you’re in the heart of the main event.

If you would like to know more or apply and register for your VIP ticket, email our VIP ticket concierge, Amber Harley, at amber@thesuperyachtgroup.com.

The Superyacht Owner's VIP Lounge is proudly sponsored by Blackstar, Danish Yachts, Salamanca Group and, exclusive security sponsor, Special Projects and Services.
