Also in this issue, we speak to owner Kim Schindelhauer of S/Y WinWin about choosing wildcard naval architect Javier Jaudenes for his 33m racer cruiser. The gamble has clearly paid off, with the yacht since sailing over 20,000 nautical miles and recently winning the Palma Superyacht Cup. ”Choosing a designer is a major decision and it can go so wrong, but I had a good feeling in my gut about Javier,” explains Schindelhauer.

Andrey Lomakin, owner and CEO of West Nautical, also talks us through his first commissioned project – a Mulder 94 Voyager named Firefly while Paolo Scudieri, CEO of Adler Group, enthuses about his forthcoming yacht, the very first Arcadia 100. “I was drawn to Arcadia because of its technological approach,” he explains.
