Ocean Yacht Systems introduces thruster for smaller superyachts

CommentsThe C-Series is a compact design that deploys in a vertical plane, yet due to the unique linkage design, does not need the additional height associated with traditional vertical thrusters.
Once raised, a hydraulic pin is actuated for added security under extreme conditions or high speed slamming, ensuring the thruster remains raised and securely in place. Although powered by hydraulics, the thruster also has important manual overrides so the thruster can be raised/lowered and locked in place if there is a power failure onboard.
OYS are exhibiting at the Monaco Yacht Show on Stand QS17 Darse Sud from 19– 22 September 2012.
