Introducing The Superyacht Group editorial team at Monaco Yacht Show
By
Belinda Liversedge
They will be there to meet the industry and to cover the show’s many exciting press conferences where the most significant developments, concepts and announcements will be made. Their reports are featured now on SuperyachtNews.com’s dedicated MYS portal and will be rolling during the Show.
Most importantly, TSG wants its valued industry partners to be acquainted with the names, faces and their areas of expertise. This is especially important to ensure the right people are engaged with at this most precious of moments in the superyacht industry calendar. Rare is it that the thousands of people who make up this incredible industry are present on the same spot. The team want to hear the stories of each of these industry players from designers, captains, marketeers and product innovators to ensure valuable, comprehensive and exciting coverage not only for the Show but to lay the groundwork for the months ahead.
Some new changes will be noticed to the team titles, including LuLu Trask as Managing Editor of The Crew Report which will make its debut as a rebranded, relaunched title to blend seamlessly with the look and feel of the portfolio of TSG's print titles, The Superyacht Report, SuperyachtDesign and The Superyacht Owner.
The team can be found at Monaco at The Superyacht Group’s usual exhibition stand on the Quai des Etats-Unis (QE8)

Martin H Redmayne, Chairman and Editor in Chief, The Superyacht Group
The brains and the personality behind everything we do at TSG, Martin has spent time on over 1000 yachts around the globe, interviewed hundreds of owners and designers and therefore has a rare insight into the market.

Thea Cheney is the Managing Editor of The Superyacht Report, the flagship product of The Superyacht Group. Focused on providing the industry the most valuable, thought provoking and educational content through this hugely respected industry magazine Thea uses her contacts within the industry and enthusiasm for the product to drive it forward each month.

Justin Ratcliffe is Editor of SuperyachtDesign, and European Editor of both The Superyacht Report and The Superyacht Owner. With 20 years' experience reporting on the superyacht industry, he specialises in most aspects of yacht design, construction and ownership, with particular but not exclusive focus on European shipyards, suppliers and subcontractors.

Don Hoyt Gorman is Business and Features Editor for The Superyacht Group, writing new technology, business and ownership features, interviews and opinion pieces. A former square-rig bosun, his interests range from technical reports on the newest gear to in-depth narratives revealing the passion and commitment that drive the industry.

Ellie Brade is the Editor of The Superyacht Group’s Superyacht Intelligence division, managing the Group’s extensive yacht database and producing analysis on the state of the superyacht industry. Also the Group’s Pacific Editor, Ellie is based in Auckland, New Zealand. Primarily working on The Superyacht Report, The Superyacht Owner and online, specialities include the global order book, launches/deliveries/orders and shipyard news.

As the US Editor for The Superyacht Group, Esther Barney reports on all topics relating to the superyacht industry in the Americas, from business, regulation and product news to the serious issues facing superyacht companies in this region. Previously, during her six years at The Superyacht Group, she worked on the company's conference programmes followed by four years as The Crew Report's Editor. Esther is based in New York and is regularly found jetting about the country to follow superyacht stories.

Will Mathieson is Editor of SuperyachtNews.com, The Superyacht Group’s flagship digital product and source of the latest business, fleet and technology news. Will specialises in the areas of finance, banking, insurance, legal and fiscal matters affecting the development of the superyacht industry.

Lulu Trask is the Managing Editor of The Crew Report, and works with the professional yachting industry to create a serious and industry-appropriate product with the help of external contributors. Always looking to hear from captains, engineers, deckhands – any crew members – about their experiences on board, in order to give them a platform to discuss and debate with their industry.

Right hand woman to LuLu Trask is Bryony McCabe, The Crew Report's Editorial Assistant. Bryony will aid the development of The Crew Report as an essential information source for professional superyacht crew. Bryony will be keeping up to date with current issues and topics within the industry in order to provide a serious forum where feedback and ideas can be shared.

Andrew Johansson's interest is in all things design-related, whether conceptual or built. As Assistant Editor of SuperyachtDesign and design editor of The Superyacht Group, Andrew is keen to meet the main creative players of superyachts, tenders and luxury accessories.

Rebecca Dark, as the Assistant Editor of The Superyacht Report, assists the managing editor with commissioning, managing and editing content in the magazine, as well as researching and writing features. Rebecca also monitors fleet activity for the magazine, so likes to keep up to date with new launches and deliveries.
