'Nassima' aces sea trials before Monaco debut

CommentsThe sea trial took place in calm water conditions, reported her broker Bluewater, on the Lake Yssel, a large artificial lake in Holland and also the largest in Western Europe.
The team found that ‘vibration, sound and maneuverability were all thoroughly tested and the results proved excellent.’ In a water depth of 3.5m, Nassima reached 7.5 knots with engaged gear and 10 knots with approximately 1000 RPM.
Nassima can reach a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. She also has a long range, with 8600 nautical miles her range for 10 knots of speed.
High in volume yet under 500 GT, Nassima has been designed by Oliver F. van Meer with notable features including; a large aquarium on main deck, an expansive sundeck, owner’s private terrace, a stern garage which will hold a Mini Cooper S and two Ducati devil motor bikes.
The ‘first class interior’ is designed by Maja von Dewitz of VDP Studio GmbH and production partner of Acico Yachts. Her three decks accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms. A large personal gym, spacious stateroom on the upper deck, full beam VIP cabin, captain’s cabin and four double and one single crew cabin accommodating 10-11 crew in total complete the picture.
Nassima will be on the Quai de l'Hirondelle, number N16 at Monaco Yacht Show. She will also be arriving 7-10 days prior to the show and will be available for viewings through Acico Yachts and Bluewater Yachting.
