CRN announces sale of its latest superyacht

The Italian shipyard has announced the sale of its new 60m superyacht…

CRN has announced the sale of its new 60m yacht, hull number 141. The custom aluminium project is, according to the yard, the result of the CRN’s breadth of experience and the creative skills of the Italian design studio lead by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard.

The yard’s technical office developed the design, with the exterior and interior concepts being devised the Nuvolari Lenard studio. The result of this collaboration is the yacht’s dynamic lines, a Nuvolari Lenard hallmark, and its numerous high-tech solutions. The project has arrived just shortly after CRN announced the sale of the new CRN 70m 139 yacht, made in partnership with the architecture studio Vallicelli Design.

The new 60m model will be made at CRN’s shipyard in Ancona. The Italian shipyard is currently working on four fully custom CRN yachts alongside two Riva 50m units, two Pershing 140 units and 18 Custom Line models from 30m to 42m in length.

According to Superyacht Intelligence, CRN has started to produce much larger models in recent years, with the average LOA increasing by 10m in the last 5 years. After a dip in activity in 2016, when CRN failed to deliver a single vessel, the Italian builder appears to have hit its stride, consistently delivering vessels in each of the years that followed, as well as having two projects due for delivery in 2019.
