Palmer Johnson’s 2006 build BB3, which is listed with Wes Sanford at Northrop & Johnson, has undergone an additional $245,000 price reduction and has a new asking price of $6.75 million.

The 37.5m motoryacht is the second hull in the US-based yard’s 123 series. Her planing hull is built from FRP composite and the internal and external design is the work of Nuvolari Lenard. She is able to accommodate eight guests over a master, VIP and two guest cabins, all of which are en suite. BB3 is capable of maintaining a 20+ knot cruising speed with her twin MTU 16V 2000 engines.

Palmer Johnson vessels in a similar size range (36 to 42m) that have appeared on the re-sale market since 2013 have recurrently required a price reduction, or numerous reductions prior to their sale - a number have also been reduced in price and remain on the market. The graph below shows four Palmer Johnson yachts with similar LOA’s that remain on the market despite their reduced price.

BB3 is evidently well priced and in line with what would be expected in the market, offering a good opportunity for prospective buyers.

LOA: 37.5
Year of build: 2006
CA: Northrop & Johnson
Asking price: $6,750,000
