Baglietto launches 48m yacht 'Andiamo'
Built for a Mexican owner, the 48m tri-deck yacht is to make its worldwide premiere at the Cannes and Monaco yacht shows in September…
Launched from the busy La Spezia shipyard on the 4th June, Andiamo is the first of two new 48m steel and aluminum displacement yachts from Baglietto.
With interior and exterior lines penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design, in conjunction with architect Margherita Casprini, Andiamo epitomises the evolution of the renowned 46m displacement range, yet manages to strike a balance between tradition and innovation.
Built for a Mexican owner, the 500GT yacht features improved visibility from the bridge thanks to ‘reversed’ glazing of the forward helm station and a modernised athwart garage. Powered by twin MTU 12V4000M63 engines, Andiamo is certainly no slouch, capable of reaching a top speed of 16kn and a comfortable cruiser at 12kn.
The great volumes inside and out are one of the main characteristics of this 48m vessel.
Arranged in a traditional layout, there are 350sqm of luxurious interiors aboard, all contemporary and captivating. There are five guest quarters on the lower deck and, located aft of the main deck, a full-beam master bedroom.
Mid-ship, a winding steel and leather staircase connects the various decks of this tri-deck yacht. At 140sqm, encompassing an infinity pool, dining area accompanied by a bar and a forward sunbathing area, the sun deck is devoted to guest entertainment and life in the open air.
Soon to be leaving the busy La Spezia shipyard, where amongst other projects a 55m displacement yacht, 43m planning yacht and second 48m remain under construction, Andiamo will complete her first summer cruise around the Med before her worldwide premieres at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows in September.
