Italian shipyard CRN has announced that both 55m new build Atlante and 46m-refit project Eight have left the facility in Ancona after being launched in May.

Atlante, formerly hull no.138, is a 55m displacement vessel designed by Nuvolari and Lenard with naval architecture by CRN’s in house engineering department. Her exterior styling is influenced by the characteristics of a typical military vessel, as specified in the design brief. With a gross tonnage of 950 over four decks, Atlante has the highest volume out of all 55m superyachts delivered in the last ten years, represented in the chart below.

CRN has also announced the successful completion and delivery of their first refit project, 46m motoryacht Eight which according to Lamberto Tacolli, “marks the first step along the development path”. She was designed by CRN’s engineering department, in collaboration with Nuvolari Lenard and has four decks, and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Atlante will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show together with two other CRN yachts, 61m Saramour and 73m Yalla.
