Three 45m+ sales end the first quarter on a high
The end of 2016’s first quarter has seen three Italian-built 45m+ motoryacht sales – the first was the 59.3m Benetti build Lady Lara, the second was the 49m Rossinavi new build project 'Prince Shark’, and the third was the sale of the ‘63m Admiral’ new build motoryacht.
Lady Lara was listed for sale through Will Christie of Y.CO. Whilst information on the sale is to remain confidential, the final asking price for the custom build was believed to be €35 million. The 59.3m build was delivered by Benetti in 2009. When she was listed for sale, Christie said, “She has been superbly maintained and would be a fantastic deal to anyone”.

Lady Lara’s luxury on board features include: an elevator connecting all decks, a built-in sauna, a master suite with 270-degree view, a beach club, an air-conditioned gym and a Jacuzzi on the sun deck.
The yacht's positioning on the market has, to an extent, been replaced by the slightly smaller and marginally older 56m Benetti Galaxy – returning to the market earlier this week through Burgess.
The 49m Rossinavi new build, Project Prince Shark (below) was formerly for sale with Ocean Independence but was sold directly to a client by the Italian shipyard after a buyer was introduced by Aquamarine Group.

The yacht’s construction will be with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, with a refined interior volume to stay below 500 gross tons. She is a full displacement build with naval architecture by Studio Arrabito and exterior design by T4 design.
The delivery date for the part-built new construction was advertised as being 18 months from contract, so a late 2017 delivery is scheduled.
