Admiral Tecnomar launches 'Cacos V'
Motoryacht Cacos V, a 40m aluminum yacht from the semi-displacement Impero line, was launched at Admiral Tecnomar, Yachting hub of The Italian Sea Group, in Italy on Sunday. She is the first Admiral motor yacht launched since the brand was acquired by Tecnomar in 2011.
Her design by naval architect Luca Dini, in co-operation with the Group Style Centre, is characterized by ‘innovative’ lines, a vertical bow and a ‘strong personality’. She has a masculine look combined with Admiral’s traditional style intended to evoke a ‘military style’ ship.
The wheelhouse of Cacos V has sloped reverse windows for optimum visibility and to reduce reflections. She has wide bridge wings, which protrude from the external profile of the superstructure to allow maximum visibility fore and aft during maneuvers.
The external bulwarks are almost vertical in order to increase space and visibility; windows are very wide to encourage natural light.
Cacos V has excellent room for her size category says Admiral Tecnomar, with her 470 GT volume exceptionally large for a 40m yacht.
Furnishings feature dark oak and polished Makassar, silk carpets with leather and polished Makassar ceilings. Each cabin is enriched by a different art installation at the headboard.
The main deck houses the large living and dining areas characterized by wide full height windows. The owner’s area is bow oriented with a private office, a large full beam cabin and a double bathroom.
On the sundeck there is a comfortable Jacuzzi with large table and sofa chairs.
Crew have separate walkways to ensure maximum privacy to the guests on board.
