Week in Superyacht Brokerage: Increase in sales from last week

The week running 16 – 22 October saw three sales completed, 12 new central agencies listed and 24 reductions made.Superyacht Sales
Sales up from last week with three sales completed, all within the 30-40m category. The largest sale this week was completed by Freedom Marine with the 1930 Philip and Sons built Atlantide. The sale, completed by David Campbell saw her being sold with an asking price of €5,000,000. Following closely behind with the 36m Lady A was John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates. Built by Intermarine Savannah in 1998 and refit in 2010, she had an asking price of $2,900,000. The final sale completed this week came from Tucker Fallon at Bradford Marine. 34.1m Resilience, built by Westport in 1999 had an asking price of $3,475,000.

New Central Agencies
Increase in new CAs announced this week, with 12 new listings announced, up from 10 last week. The yachts had a total combined length of 383.53m, and their combined asking prices total €79,502,060 ($103,453,268).
The largest new listing was 50m Xilonen V. Built in 2009 by Westport, she is listed through Rick Morales and Fernando Nicholson at Camper & Nicholsons for $32,500,000.

Edouard Vignal at ABYS Yachting has listed the 2002 34m Ferretti Custom Line 112, Mamai for sale at €3,900,000.
Another new listing from Michel Chryssicopoulos at Cape 4 Yachting with 28.45m Protect 136. Built in 1999 by Posillipo, she is currently lying in Greece and on the market for €1,360,000.
Jointly listed Perle Bleue is for sale at $13,900,000. On the market through Denison & Daves, and John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates, this 37.9m M/Y was completed in 2007 by Hakvoort and recently refit in 2010.
Costis Pontifex at Ekka Yachts is the new CA for 34.02m Thalyssa. Built by Custom Line in 2005, she is currently listed at €4,900,000.
New CA, Jan Jaap Minnema from Fraser Yachts has listed the 30.2m Jazz of Monaco, built by Benetti in 2007, for €4,900,000.
Another joint listing from John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates, along with Atlantic Yacht & Ship with M/Y Selene. New to the market, and just completed this year, the 27m Sunseeker build is currently listed at $5,495,000.
New listing from Robert Drontmann at Moonen Brokerage with the 30m, 2008 Moonen built, Sofia II, for sale at €7,400,000.
Mike Zaidan at Neff Yacht Sales has listed La Sirena, built by Broward in 1984 and refit in 2003, this 27.4m M/Y is currently on the market for $495,000.
Jointly listed Scorpione Dei Mari is currently on the market through Marc Haendle at Ocean Independence and Jochen Brill at Dahm International. Measuring 29.1m this S/Y was completed by Jongert in 2005 and has an asking price of €6,700,000.
Lady P, built by Bugari in 2003 and measuring 29.26m, she is listed through Marcel Borgmann at Sea Independent for €3,950,000.
The final new CA announcement comes from Worth Avenue Yachts with the new Cantiere Delle Marche build, Percheron. Measuring 26.2m, she will be delivered in 2013 and has an asking price of €6,050,000.
Price Reductions
There was an increase in reductions this week with 24 announced in total, compared with 18 from last week, possibly in preparation for Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) happening this week from 25-29 October. The following yachts are still on the market and looking for buyers:
The largest yacht to be reduced this week was the 63.7m Turmoil. Built by Royal Denship in 2006 and listed through Michael Rafferty at Camper & Nicholsons, she has a new asking price of $48,500,000.
A1 Yacht Trade Consortium has reduced the price of 2009 Mengi Yay built, 36.5m Kivircik to €5,700,000.
Todd Rittenhouse from Ardell has reduced the price of Anaisa to $2,950,000. Completed in 2006 by Johnson Yachts, this 26.5m M/Y is still on the market looking for an owner.
Joe Bartram from Bartram & Brakenhoff announced the reduction of the 1939 Trumpy built, 28m Innisfail to $1,950,000.
29.4m Sono has been reduced from Bluewater Brokerage. Jimmy Broddesson announced the 2008 Princess Yachts build has a new price of €3,200,000.

Jointly listed Sunrise has been reduced through Burgess and Merle Wood & Associates. The 2000 build from Oceanco measures 52.8m and is now listed at $19,950,000.
Michel Chryssicopoulos at Cape 4 Yachting along with Richard Earp from Fraser Yachts have reduced the price of Ouranos Too. Completed by Codecasa in 1994, her new asking price is €4,975,000.
CSO Yacht Sales has reduced the price of 2001, 27m Arno build, Romachris II to €995,000.
Three further reductions from Fraser Yachts: James Munn has reduced 26m La Dolce Vita, completed by Moonen in 1992 and refit this year, to €1,100,000; James Bland has reduced the 2009 Tecnomar built, 27.25m Nida to €2,250,000; and Scott French announced the new price of 43.3m Richmond Yachts build from 2007, Princess Sarah to $15,600,000.
Four reductions this week from International Yacht Collection: David Nichols, along with Whit Kirtland from Bradford Marine, have reduced 29.6m Maiora build from 1991 and refit in 2009, Mr. Ed to $875,000; two reductions from Mark Elliot this week, including Scott Free, built by NorthCoast Yachts in 2000 and measuring 36.6m, currently listed at $4,995,000; as well as 51.8m Feadship built in 2003 and refit in 2009, Dream is currently on the market at $39,900,000; the final reduction from IYC comes from Frank Grzeszczak And John F. Dane with the 58m Trinity Yachts build from 2011, Lady Linda is currently for sale at $47,900,000.
Three further reductions from Merle Wood & Associates: Crom Littlejohn and John Cohen have reduced My Colors, built by Westport in 2005 and measuring 39.62m, she is now listed at $9,450,000; Thom Conboy, along with Ocean Independence have reduced the price of 44.2m, Heesen Yachts build from 1990, At Last to $9,900,000; the final reduction is a joint listing with Burgess, with 51.4m Lazy Z, built by Oceanco in 1997 now listed at $17,300,000.
Two reductions from Northrop & Johnson: Kevin Merrigan has announced the new asking price of 46.93m, 2006 Delta Marine built Mr. Terrible to $23,950,000; also from Kevin Merrigan, along with Fraser Yachts comes the reduction of 48.77m Newvida, completed in 2001 by Delta Marine and refit in 2009, she is currently for sale at $14,900,000.
Nol Kneulman from Van der Vliet has reduced the price of the 2007 built, 24.3m motorsailer from Vennekens, Time Out to €2,150,000.
Michael Mahan from Worth Avenue Yachts along with Peter Thompson and Michael White from Ocean Independence have announced the new price of 54.9m Newcastle Marine build from 2011, Harbour Island to $49,500,000.
Rob Newton from Yachtzoo has reduced the price of the 1999 Azimut built, 30.5m Melimar to $2,300,000.
The final reduction this week comes from William Bishop at YPI and Holland Yacht Partners. Built in 2011 by JOM, 33.9m Annagine is now listed at €6,500,000.
