Week in Superyacht Brokerage: Quiet week with two sales completed

The week running 9 – 15 October saw a total of two sales completed, 10 new Central Agencies listed, and 18 price reductions made.



Superyacht Sales



The largest sale this week was completed by Camper & Nicholsons. The sale, completed by Jeremy C. Comport & Jonathan Syrett was the 46m M/Y Sunrise. Built in 2004 by CRN, she had an asking price of €10,500,000. Marc Handle and Rainer Wilhelm from Ocean Independence completed the other sale from this week, with 30.21m S/Y Julie Marie. Built by Nautors Swan in 2007, she was listed at €7,400,000.

New Central Agencies



There was a decrease in new CAs this week, with 10 new listings announced. The yachts had a total combined length of 391.09m, and their combined asking prices total €104,565,254 ($136,036,121).

The largest new listing was 67.06m Allure Shadow. Built in 2007, she is listed with Moran Yacht & Ship with an asking price of $19,950,000. 

Burgess and Kevin Merrigan from Northrop & Johnson have teamed up to sell Big Zip. Completed in 2010 by Trinity Yachts, this 43.2m M/Y is listed at $22,000,000.

Simon Goldsworthy and Fernando Nicholson from Camper & Nicholsons are the new CAs for the latest Kingship build, Essence. To be delivered in 2014, she measures 43m and is listed at €13,800,000.

The 2003 built, 28.65m Elegance 94 Dynasty is listed through Drettman Yachts for €1,890,000. 

New listing from Dubois Yachts with the 49.7m Zefira. Built in 2010 by Fitzroy, this S/Y has an asking price of €29,500,000.

New listing from Antonio Yturbe Redo at Edmiston with the 36.6m Gladiatore. Built by Benetti in 2008 and recently refit in 2011, she is on the market at $13,400,000.

The ex Lady Allusion, now named Sealyon, is jointly listed through Merle Wood & Associates and Y.CO. Measuring 36.45m and completed by ISA in 2007, she is for sale at $9,995,000. 

Kama Bay, built by R. Lowestoft – UK in 1978 and refit last year, is on the market through Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence. Measuring 26.5m, she is currently lying in Phuket, Thailand and listed at €3,500,000. 

New listing from David Wiest at RJC Yacht Sales with 33.53m Waterford. Completed in 1997 by Hattera, Waterford is on the market at $3,295,000.

The final new CA announced this week comes from Oliver Sieckmann at Sunseeker Germany with Sancerre. Built in 2009 by Sunseeker International, the 26.4m M/Y is listed at €3,150,00.


Price Reductions



Small fall in price reductions this week, with 18 announced in total, compared with 19 from last week. The following yachts are still on the market and looking for buyers: 

The largest yacht to be reduced this week was the 46.93m Mr. Terrible. Built by Delta Marine in 2006 and listed through Kevin Merrigan at Northrop & Johnson, she has a new asking price of $24,950,000.

A1 Yachting has reduced the price of 25.5m Lancelot. Completed in 2006 by Tecnomar, she is located in southeast Greece and has an asking price of €1,400,000.

Gary Goldman from Allied Marine has reduced the Ferretti built, 24m Tats. Completed in 2011, her new asking price is $4,499,000. 

Maoira built Marnaya, has been reduced from Michel Chryssicopoulous at Cape 4 Yachting. Measuring 31.49m and completed in 2010, she is listed at €6,150,000.



Two reductions from Fraser Yachts this week: Stuart Larsen has reduced the 1990 Hakvoort built Ace of Diamonds. Measuring 34.14m with an asking price of $3,950,000, she is currently lying in Jupiter, Florida; Josh Gulbranson has reduced the 28.96m, 2003 Sunseeker build, Once Around to $1,999,999.



Two reductions as well from International Yacht Collection: Bob Anslow has reduced the price of 35.66m Star Sapphire, completed by Bilgin Yachts in 2007, she is currently listed at $5,445,000; Ferretti built in 2004, 34.1m Mambo is now listed at $6,500,000 through Frank Grzeszczak & Frank Grzeszczak Jr.



A new reduction comes from Merle Wood & Associates, with the 38.1m Showtime. Built in 1989 by Broward, she is now asking $2,900,000. 

Two further reductions from Northrop & Johnson: Wes Sanford has reduced JL Seagull to €9,900,000. Built in 2002 by Benetti, this 44.2m M/Y was recently refit in 2011; 31.09m Newcastle Explorer was built by Newcastle Marine in 2001 and Chuck MacMahon has reduced her to $5,495,000.



Peter Thompson and Michael White from Ocean Independence have announced the reduction of 27.46m Alea II. Completed by Canados in 2009, she is currently listed at €2,000,000.



Revello & Partners have announced an auction listing for 35.5m Limoncello. Built by Benetti in 1984, and refit in 2008, she will be at auction this month and sold to the highest bidder.



Blaise Voisin from Thierry Voison has announced the reduction of 34.3. Fulton built Fulton 110. Currently located in Dubai, she is on the market for €1,000,000.



Two reductions this week from Worth Avenue Yachts: Simon Gibson has reduced the asking price of the 1991 Broward built, 36.58m Sovereign to $2,495,000; also reduced is the 24.4m Ocean Alexander build from 2009, Montage, with a new asking price of $2,995,000.



The two final reductions this week come from Yachtzoo: Chris Richardson has reduced the price of the Sunseeker build from 2011, 34.53m Stella to £8,500,000; while Neil Emmot has reduced 1996 Azimut built, 30.5m Natalita III to $1,795,000.



With Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show starting next week, be sure to watch this space for what we can all hope is some promising market activity.
