Dubois and Feadship collaborate again on 46m superyacht

Feadship’s De Vries yard has begun construction on a 46.4m Dubois-designed superyacht, the second collaboration between the shipyard and the designer in 2012.
The aluminium vessel is notable for the positioning of the owner’s ‘apartment’, which will make up the entire upper deck. There is also a six-seat dining table aft, a private hot tub, and salon which will feature styling from the yacht’s interior designer Redman Whiteley Dixon.
Guest accommodation comprises three twin cabins, one double cabin and a VIP suite. According to a Dubois spokesperson, “this capacious main-deck suite occupies the forward section of the superstructure with spectacular sea views assured thanks to the glazed bulwarks. The hull windows will also allow plenty of daylight into the lower guest accommodation, where one of the twin cabins can convert to form a double.“
With a transatlantic range and displacing around 360 tonnes, the vessel will be powered by two 1,081kW Caterpillars giving a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
She is due for delivery in 2015.
