Week in Superyacht Brokerage: three sales made

Superyacht Sales
There were three sales this week, with a combined asking price of €5.895million and a cumulative length of 96.91m.
The 36m 2005 Azimut build Squalo was the biggest yacht sold. Listed by Top Yachts and sold by Ksenia Demidova on August 17, her asking price was €3.5million.

The 34.7m St Maarten F, was sold by Antoine Althaus at Fraser Yachts. Built by Codecasa in 1992, the yacht had an asking price of €1.9million.
Also sold by Fraser Yachts, the third and smallest yacht sold this week was 26.21m Praise the Lord, built by Tarrab in 2001. Listed by Thorstein Giesbert she had an asking price of €495,000.

New Central Agencies
The week registered 8 new central agencies, the same number as the previous week.
Burgess listed 62.5m Baton Rouge for sale. Built by Icon Yachts in 2010 she is available to view in the West Med and has an asking price of €67.5million.

Bob O’Brien at Camper & Nicholsons has listed 42m Forty Love, built by Westport/West Coast Custom in 2002, at an asking price of $15.5million.
At Fraser Yachts, Bill Thiem listed 26m Giocattolo, built by Riva in 2005, at a price of €3.3million.
Moonen's 28.6m Nilo was listed by Moonen Brokerage at a price of €5.9million. Built in 2007, she will be exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Gregg Child at Northrop & Johnson listed 25.9m Playpen, built by Pacific Mariner in 1994, and refitted in 2010, at a price of $5.595million.

The 34.6m Abbracci, built by Broward in 1994 and refitted in 2010, was listed by Jim Eden at Worth Avenue Yachts at a price of $4.995million.
At Yachtzoo, Darrell Hall and Neil Emmott, listed 29.6m Cipango. Built by Versilcraft in 1992, the yacht is lying in Fort Lauderdale and is asking $1.35million.
Will Bishop at YPI has listed the only new sailing yacht CA of the week, the 40.6m Gweilo built by Mengi Yay in 2008, which has an asking price of €8million.
Price Reductions
The number of price reductions was significantly down this week, with just three price reductions, totalling a value of $5.945million (€4.754million).
The biggest reduction was to 53.5m Kisses, built by Feadship in 2000 and listed jointly by Merle Wood & Associates and Camper & Nicholsons, which saw a significant $5.15million reduced from her asking price to give her a new price of $29.75million.

Listed by CSO Yachts, 30.69m Ol’Iva B, built by Falcon Yachts in 2002, was reduced by €100,000 to give her a new price of €1.58million.
The 37.4m Philkade, built in 1986 by Sensation Yachts and listed by Northrop & Johnson, was reduced by $670,000 to a new asking price of $1.98million.
