Turkish shipyard and designer Tansu Yacht Design has launched its 34m semi-displacement superyacht Only Now.
Construction began on the 34m motoryacht at the start of 2011, with Diana Yacht Design providing the naval architecture and engineering services together with the shipyard’s in-house engineering team, whilst the shipyard boasted the yacht’s exterior and interior design.
With a wood and epoxy hull and superstructure, Only Now has been designed in mind of a mid-century modern design, accentuated by ample use of large volumes which see the use of simple and stylish materials with the result of creating the sense of a larger yacht. Open spaces and movement, Tansu Yacht Design’s trademark according to the shipyard, are plenty, with the motoryacht featuring several separate outdoor spaces for different activities.

Only Now features two guest cabins and a VIP cabin with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, and a gym in the lower deck which can be converted into an additional guest cabin. The maindeck features a large exterior living and dining space with a salon, galley, dayhead and wheelhouse all located in the surrounding area. The superyacht also features a spacious flybridge which has been separated into different sections for varying usage, with a control station based at the front of the flybridge. She is powered by dual CAT C23 1268kW engines which allow her to cruise at 18 knots and reach a maximum speed of 22 knots.

According to the shipyard, “together with the functional, no-nonesense exterior styling and a complementary, modern interior design, Only Now is already striking as a unique and original yacht.”
Only Now is currently undergoing her sea trials and her owners should receive delivery of the 34m superyacht before the end of the month.
