Palumbo completes Columbus Sport 130' Hybrid hull

Palumbo has released the first pictures of its Columbus Sport 130’ Hybrid’s completed hull. The 40m superyacht is currently under construction at the builder’s Naples shipyard, and is due for delivery in September 2013.
Featuring naval architecture by Hydro Tec and a Hot Lab interior, the 130’ Hybrid is the latest addition to the Columbus range, which is based on a ‘respect’ for the marine environment through the utilisation of the latest nautical technology. Her launch next year will follow that of the 60m Columbus Classic 200’ and the much lauded 53.7m Prima, which was awarded the RINA Green Star Plus for its environmental credentials.
A Palumbo spokesperson said of the yard’s latest project, “This yacht will be an icon of style, elegance and sophistication without renouncing its respect [for the] marine environment.”
