Italy’s Admiral Tecnomar Group today announced the sale of a new 45m superyacht from its Maxima series, bringing its total number of new-build sales to two in the past week, and three in the past two months. Since the end of April, the shipyard has signed contracts for a total of 113m of brand new superyachts, quite an achievement for a shipyard in these economic times.
The end of April 2012 saw the group’s announcement of the first of these three sales, a 38m from its Nadara series, due for delivery in the summer of 2014. The sale of the motoryacht who will be able to reach a maximum speed of 28 knots occurred just prior to the delivery of the shipyard’s 45m from the same series. At this time, Sales Director of Admiral Tecnomar Group Francesco Carbone commented: “We remain focused as we feel more sale opportunities are likely to come in the very near future.”
At the start of this week the group announced the sale of its new 30m motoryacht from its Nadara series, due for delivery in the summer of 2013. Alongside this announcemebt, Carbone commented: “We feel something more is likely to come in the very near future.”

The sale of the Nadara 30 was announced just two days ago, on Monday 18 June 2012
Just two days later Admiral Tecnomar Group announced the sale of a new 45m superyacht from its Maxima series. The motoryacht, designed by Luca Dini, will be delivered to her experienced owner in the summer of 2014.

None of the above sales agreement involved other brokerage houses, nor trade-ins of existing vessels, which suggests not only success for the Admiral Tecnomar Group, but Italy’s shipbuilding market and the superyacht industry as a whole.
Carbone concluded by expressing his delight at the success of the group: “Selling three new superyachts in two months, without trade-in, just confirms the huge progress we have made so far in terms of organisation, professionalism and dealing with the right partners in the current marketplace.”
