On 21 April 2012 Italian shipyard Arzanà Navi launched its 48m Tripp Design sloop Nativa. The superyacht was launched for an unveiling at the America’s Cup World Cup series at the Arsenale in Venice, Italy.
The RINA Green Star classified 48m flybridge sailing sloop has been described by Tripp Design Naval Architecture and according to the design company, “has defined a new breed of sailboats – thoroughbreds that synthesise lifestyle and sport.” The large sailing yacht, with its aluminium hull, features an interior by Arzanà Navi, inclusive of a salon surrounded by glass and an expansive flybridge deck that has been designed as the social hub of the yacht. With minimalist styling, those on board are offered a more immediate interaction with the sea’s landscape.
“The real beauty of these sailing yachts, however, is their sparkling sailing performance and ease of handling – a Tripp Design standard,” said Tripp Design Naval Architecture.

"Nativa is going to be sea trialled early this summer, and delivery is expected some time later this summer," said Krista Stanley of Tripp Design Naval Architecture.
Nativa is one of two 48m sailing yachts that has recently been under construction at Arzanà Navi, and Nativa’s sistership is expected to launch in Autumn 2012.
Specifications of Nativa:
LOA: 48m (158’)
Beam: 9.56m
Draught: 6m
Concept: Tripp Design / Arzanà Navi
Interior: Arzanà Navi
Builder: Arzanà Navi
