Perini Navi launches 30.65m carbon fibre sloop 'Xnoi'

In the month following the Perini Navi Group’s launch of its 50m ketch Enterprise, the Italian shipyard has launched the 30.65m carbon fibre sloop Xnoi in a launching ceremony that took place on 26 May 2012 in the group’s Picchiotti shipyard in La Spezia.
Xnoi (pronounced ‘per noir’) has been designed by Nauta Yacht Design’s Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino, and was built at Perini Navi’s Picchiotti shipyard.
The sailing yacht’s hull, superstructure, boom and 40m mast have all been constructed in carbon fibre. The construction of Xnoi, according to Perini Navi, “meets the changing needs of today’s yachting market,” as well as expanding the range of the Perini Navi Group products.
The 30.65m Xnoi, which can hold 10 guests, is available for charter through Perini Navi USA, and will be in the Mediterranean Sea this summer.
