Sunseeker's largest construction progresses

Sunseeker International, based in Poole, Dorset, has taken the next step in the construction of its largest superyacht to date, the 47m Sunseeker 155 motoryacht.
Founder of Sunseeker International, Robert Braithwaite, laid the first gelcoat on the mould of the Sunseeker 155, which is due for completion in December 2013.
The 47m superyacht is for a repeat client, and will incorporate innovative inset ship balconies, transverse garaging of tenders and toys, including a private superyacht beach club with a lower deck dayroom, folding platform and tender docking. Braithwaite paid tribute to the design and engineering teams at Sunseeker which have been working on this model for the past three years. “Today is the beginning of the manufacturing process that will make my dream a reality. She will not be owned by many, but those that do will be buying a craft of exceptional style, quality and innovation.”
