Vanguard Dutch Marine (VanDutch for short) has announced that it will be delivering two new models in 2011: the VanDutch 30 and VanDutch 55. Both models are based on the look of the VanDutch 40 launched at the end of 2008 and keep in line with Frank Mulder’s original design. The mid-range model of just over 12 metres has the option of either two 260 hp or 480 hp engines, for a maximum of 30 knots and 40 knots respectively.

The larger of the two new models is just under 16.5 metres and built using sandwich construction methods and vacuum technology for the hull. It is powered by two 900 hp Yanmar engines and able to reach 38 knots. Esthec will be used for the flooring in the cockpit, main and side decks and also on the swim platform. Her interior has a main salon with a double bed sofa, a double master cabin and a twin guest cabin, with all the standard equipment an owner would expect.

The VanDutch 30 mirrors her bigger sisters in construction method and Esthec deck finish, but at just under 10 metres there is only a main salon. The option of either one or two 260 hp Yanmar engines are offered with automatic fire extinguishing systems installed as standard.

All three models are fitted with Easy Manoeuvring Systems (EMS), consisting of bow and stern thrusters and include joystick control.
