“Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is a one-stop-shop with everything you need. It’s a great resource for decorating your home – I found my fabrics and wallpapers here.” The words of national treasure Mary Berry, who came along to switch on the Christmas lights at the centre’s annual Twinkle of Christmas event last week. Present at the event was Catherine Vergez, MD of Tai Ping Carpets EMEA who talked to us about the plans for the brand next year.

What does Tai Ping have in store for 2016?
After the launch of our first "prêt à porter" collection Edition 1 in December, we'll launch a curated Bloom in January, designed by Jeff Leatham, artistic director of the Four Seasons George V of Paris. We will also inaugurate our brand new factory in June, designed by architect Jean-Marc Sandrolini, who previously designed the Louis Vuitton shoe factory in Venice. The factory will be based in Xiamen, one of the most beautiful locations in China and will be a new centre of excellence for Tai Ping. In 2016, we will also celebrate the 60 year anniversary of the company and will publish a book which will trace our history and highlights of our great collaborations and deliveries over the last 60 years.
