Delectable spots at SuperyachtDESIGN Week

2015 sees a mouth-watering range of lunch hotspots for guests over a three-day period.…

UK, London. As the old adage goes, you must feed your body as well as your mind. As SuperyachtDESIGN Week’s compelling programme is sure to nourish the brains of all 2015 attendees, the Superyacht Events team are working hard to provide a variety of tasty victuals for guests.

Lunch hotspots were a hugely popular element of SuperyachtDESIGN Week (SYDW) last year, and this initiative returns to provide guests with a relaxing (and delicious!) experience within the Design Centre. Each day of the event, held from 23 - 25 June 2015, participating showrooms will supply guests with an array of exquisite food in a relaxed, informal setting, whilst showcasing their latest products and trends.

Understanding the power of feasting with both industry and VIP guests, three showrooms return as lunch hotspots this year, joined by newcomer McKinnon & Harris.

Black & Key

From tables and beds to mirrors and handles, Black & Key’s “timeless and versatile” customisable designs furnish the interiors of luxury properties and yachts alike. Peruse their latest collections on Tuesday and Wednesday of the event, over a tartlet (or three!)

J. Robert Scott
In addition to their participation as a SuperyachtDesign showroom partner, J. Robert Scott, the globally renowned home furnishings designer, invites guests to dine with them for the first two days of the show.

Turnstyle Designs
A long-time favourite of the superyacht world, this UK-based design company creates bespoke door handles using a range of materials, including brass, leather and wood. Participating on Wedneday, check out their tasty treats for a limited time only.

And new for 2015!
McKinnon & Harris
Although the lunch McKinnon & Harris serve won’t be handcrafted in their studio in Virginia, 100% of their furniture is. Specialising in aluminium designs, the studio has supplied pieces to luxury yachts and estates since 1991. Join them for the duration of the event in their stunning showroom!

In addition to networking with a captive audience of hungry delegates, lunch hotspots benefit from a full catering service provided by Absolute Taste, as well as being part of a PR campaign before, during and after the event.

To become a Lunch Hotspot contact Phoebe Jackson by emailing phoebe@thesuperyachtgroup.com or calling +44 (0) 207 924 4004 before May 14. To register as a VIP or industry guest at the design event of the year, please click here.

Thank you to SuperyachtDESIGN Week sponsors. Gold level: Awlgrip and Blohm+Voss, Bronze level: Heirlooms and SA Baxter.
