AkzoNobel Yacht Coatings will introduce the North American marine industry to an expanded Awlcraft SE colour range, the premier basecoat/clearcoat finish in the Awlgrip product line, at the 2014 International Boatbuilders Exposition and Conference, 30 September to 2 October. at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida. The Awlcraft SE range will now also include solid colours with the existing metallic, pearls and special effect products.
For new builds or refits, production or custom yachts, the Awlcraft SE range is promoted as suitable for customers looking for a fast-drying, two-stage topcoat system that is high performing in the harsh marine environment.
With the same gloss, flow and longevity already seen across the Awlcraft SE range, the solid colour availability provides customers with a complete offer for those looking to embrace the numerous advantages of a basecoat/clearcoat system. Designed specifically for the yachting market, Awlcraft SE is easy to apply by spray and provides a premium, even finish that is fast-drying and durable.
