Wahoo Ribs launches tender service in south of France

Wahoo Ribs has launched a new tender service in the south of France. Two if its high-performance RIBS will be available for superyacht owners to hire on a daily basis.…

A new luxury tender charter service has been launched in the Côte d'Azur offering a replacement tender service to superyacht owners.

Wahoo Ribs, which manufactures a range of high performance RIBs specifically designed as tenders and chase boats for superyachts, will be chartering its flagship 447kW Barracuda LX and her sporty sister-the 261kW Barracuda SX.

The company is marketing the service as 'an ideal back-up to a tender out of action due to repair or use elsewhere, or for special trips when a high speed vessel is required.'

The LX is a high performance vessel, capable of carrying 12 people at spends of close to 70 knots. The SX is a lighter, more manoeuvrable version with four body-hugging racing seats and room for four more at the stern. She is powered by a single 261kW Mercury Verado engine which offers a 'quiet and relatively fuel-efficient' performance of up to 60 knots.
